Terms of Service

Mezin is operated by {{OPERATOR_NAME}}, an individual based in {{OPERATOR_LOCATION}}(the “Operator,” “we,” or “us”). Mezin (the “Service”) is the website at mezin.ai and any associated AI chat interface, mobile experience, or email correspondence we send from the same domain.

By using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Mezin is a conversational travel agent that helps you plan trips. Mez can suggest itineraries, surface flights, hotels, tours, and restaurants, and link you out to partners where you can book. Mez is a planning aid, not a guarantor. Recommendations are based on live data at the moment they're generated; availability, prices, schedules, and terms can change between when Mez shows them and when you book.

You are responsible for verifying every detail that matters before you book — fares, baggage allowances, refund policies, visa requirements, vaccination requirements, travel advisories, hotel terms, and the identity of the partner you're booking with. Mezin doesn't replace the due diligence travel requires.

Mezin doesn't take payment, hold reservations, or act as a travel supplier. When you click “Book” on a recommendation, you leave Mezin and complete the transaction directly with the partner (Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Viator, or others). Your contract for the trip is with that partner, under their terms.

We are not liable for the trip itself.Cancellations, no-shows, refunds, overbookings, schedule changes, hotel conditions, tour cancellations, lost luggage — these are governed by the partner's policies and applicable law. If something goes wrong with a booking, you'll need to resolve it with the partner. We'll help you find the right contact when we can.

We earn commissions from partners when bookings originate from Mezin. This is how the Service is funded and is the only way we make money today. See our full Affiliate Disclosure for the specifics.

Critically: the AI's ranking is based on fit to your request, not on which partner pays the highest commission. We don't accept payment for inclusion or for higher placement. If we ever change this, we'll say so clearly here and in the AI's output.

Mez is a large language model with retrieval. It can be wrong. It can invent things that sound plausible (we work hard to prevent it from inventing hotel availability, but we cannot promise it never will). Treat Mez's output as a knowledgeable friend's recommendation, not as professional advice. For visa, immigration, health, or legal questions, consult an appropriate professional.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to commit fraud, violate sanctions, or facilitate human trafficking.
• Scrape, mirror, or systematically extract data from the Service except through any official API we publish.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the model or extract its system prompts via prompt injection.
• Submit content you don't have the right to submit, or content that's illegal where you are.
• Interfere with the Service's normal operation, including running automated agents at volumes that degrade performance for other users.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. For repeated or egregious violations, we may also ban future accounts.

You retain ownership of what you submit to Mezin (your messages, saved trips, preferences). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. We'll never publish your private content publicly or use it for marketing without your separate consent.

The Mezin name, the Mez parrot character, the editorial content on this site (including blog posts and the design system), and the underlying software are protected by copyright and trademark law and belong to the Operator. Don't copy wholesale or pass them off as your own. You can quote short excerpts of articles with attribution.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations will match your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the Operator nor anyone working with us will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or trip costs paid to a partner. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits. Where that's the case, the limits apply to the maximum extent permitted.

You agree to indemnify and hold the Operator harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the Service in violation of these terms or applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of {{GOVERNING_LAW_JURISDICTION}}, without regard to its conflicts-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where binding consumer-protection laws give you a right to bring a claim where you live.

We may update these terms when the Service changes or the law requires it. If we make material changes, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date. Significant changes will be flagged to account holders by email.
